It's a pleasure to follow up about the outstanding service that DL Solutions has provided to us.  Tom and I have done a few building/apartment renovations over the years, and while it's certainly possible to achieve excellent outcomes, getting there is usually fraught with complexity, struggle and pain.  Yet in our projects with DL, there's been no pain, no struggle, and you have managed all the complexity.   Each time we've worked with DL, the process has gone smoothly and the end results have been impressive.  

I was not completely in favor of starting our first project with DL, where you reconfigured our home technology systems.  The existing systems were chaotic and seemingly incomprehensible.  I thought it would be better to leave them alone and hope for the best, but Tom insisted that we make some effort to make things modern and orderly.  I anticipated extreme disruption--no phone/internet/audio/video for months as the systems were untangled.  Yet you were able to bring things up to date, create order and make it all accessible to us as homeowners very expeditiously.   Subsequent questions and adjustments with these systems have been addressed quickly and thoroughly.  

I have also appreciated your assistance on a series of smaller projects since that initial one.  DL's response has consistently been prompt, professional and thorough, even though some of these were quite small, and not particularly interesting or lucrative.  In particular, when I recently needed to have Cloud data retrieved promptly, Gary stepped in and quickly sorted through what had been a very difficult situation.  I was so pleased and relieved to have his assistance and expertise.  

And I am now looking forward to working together again on the electronic systems for our new house.  As always, your recommendations have been clear and extremely thorough, and I expect that the implementation will go as smoothly as it has in the past.

DL solutions provides comprehensive solutions to our “music room” needs including such 20th century curiosities as laser disc, turntables and DVD’s as well as the latest internet related services. During this COVID-19 quarantine period we have relied on the range of electronic options to fill our cultural and entertainment lives: from Netflix to Prime to a rare remastered Mozart performance on LP. The COVID-19 has also demonstrated DL’s commitment to service. Despite our building being closed to outside visitors, we were able to quickly get voice and internet responses that assisted with our expanded systems use. Beyond our entertainment services, DL Solutions installed computerized automatic shade and drape controls over the entire space. Although one naturally becomes accustomed to technological marvels after day to day use, the systems works precisely as planned. On the rare occasion that service was indicated it was promptly and precisely provided.

I went with DL solutions for full home automation (including motorized shades & draperies, lighting control, televisions, and sound system) because I have worked with David, Gary, Tim and Monica on smaller jobs for many years. This means a lot in a high tech field with the potential to be very confusing where it is not unusual for companies, and certainly employees, to come and go.  That being said, a smaller company with local roots is one I feel much more comfortable working with. My husband and I have used DL solutions for two projects over the last 18 months.  One was a rather straightforward installation of non-motorized shades for a bedroom.  The quality of the materials was excellent and the service and installation knowledgeable and efficient.  The second project was more complex, involving a "great" room with a curved window wall.  In this project, multiple window segments had to be custom fitted and coordinated with the additional challenge of motorizing the shades in a manner that was functional and esthetically pleasing.  We are delighted with the results!
